Does my child need any experience to join?
Not at all. Our Beginners Program is designed for children with zero chess experience. We start from the very basics.
What age can children start?
We welcome children from age 4.5. Our youngest students start in the Beginners Program and progress at their own pace.
How do I know which program is right for my child?
Contact us and we'll place your child in the most appropriate level according to our assessment of your child's skill.
Do you offer trial classes?
Yes! We offer a free trial class for new students so your child can experience the program before committing to a full term.
What is the difference between Advanced and Elite?
Advanced (G8) is for serious rated players targeting state and national titles. Elite / Master (G9) is a fully personalised program by selection, modelled on national team training methodology.
What is Chessie Meet?
Chessie Meet is our friendly community chess gathering — open to all our own students who are keen on playing chess and are real chess lovers. A relaxed, social environment to learn chess theories, play casual games, meet fellow chess friends, and enjoy the spirit of the game together.
When are Holiday Camps held?
Holiday Chess Camps run every school holiday period — typically 3–5 days of intensive training, mini-tournaments, and fun chess activities.
What if my child misses a class?
We offer make-up sessions for missed classes within the same term, subject to availability. A credit may be given in accordance with our policies.
