For junior players in Queensland, there are three rating systems you need to know about. Each serves a different purpose — from QJ rated tournament all the way to international competition.
昆州学棋的小朋友,需要了解三个等级分:FIDE(国际棋联等级分)、ACF(澳大利亚国家等级分)和 QJR(昆州青少年等级分)。
国际棋联等级分
The international chess rating system managed by the World Chess Federation (FIDE). Required for international titles (GM, IM, FM, CM, WGM, WIM, WFM, WCM). FIDE ratings are updated once a month.
由国际棋联(FIDE)管理的国际等级分,是获得国际头衔的必要条件。每个月更新一次。

澳大利亚国家等级分
The Australian Chess Federation (ACF) national rating system. Used for classic tournaments across Australia. ACF ratings are udated every three months.
澳大利亚棋联(ACF)的全国等级分,用于澳大利亚的慢棋比赛。每三个月更新一次。
昆州青少年等级分
The Queensland Junior Rating (QJR) is a local rating system for junior players in Queensland. It is the starting point for most of our students and is used in most school club tournaments and Queensland junior events. QJ ratings are udated every two months.
